Maine Solar Sheds offers a spring sale every year. The details change from year to year, but the gist is always the same: switching to solar just got that much more affordable. 

This year, we’re offering discounts on the solar installation done by us and building costs by Backyard Buildings (our Amish partner). This even includes discounts on selected materials like windows, doors, etc. 

The spring sale applies to all of our models: the Bigelow, Bigelow Lite, and the St. John. Our sheds offer a variety of sizes from 12 to 14 feet wide and up to 32 feet long. You’ll get an average of 8,000 to 9,000 watts, depending on the model and its size, which means an average savings of $2,000 a year, depending on your provider (learn all the ways solar saves you power here). 

Switching to solar is a smart move, but what makes a Maine Solar Shed even more appealing? You’re not just saving money on your electric bill, you’re also adding valuable space to your home investment. Your shed is built and installed with solar panels in one location at our shared shop space with Backyard Buildings. Because we don’t travel to different sites to build and install each individual shed (lugging equipment and burning gas), we save thousands of dollars that don’t need to be passed onto you, our client. When your shed is ready, we deliver it, install it, and hook it up to your grid all in a few hours. 

We wish we could offer the spring sale all year and to everyone, but the deal is just too good, so it’s only available to the first five customers who purchase before May 1. Here are our basic terms and conditions for the spring sale:

• To qualify for the spring sale discount, all projects must be under contract and have received a deposit by 4 pm on 5/30/2024. There are no exceptions. The project deposit is 1/3 of the Upright Energy contract amount and 30% of the Backyard Buildings Shed order value.
• Once projects are contracted, the equipment is ordered, and the second 1/3 of the Upright Energy contract amount is due.
• Substantial Completion of all Maine Solar Sheds is when they are completed and deliverable. At this time, the final payment to Upright Energy for the solar installation is due, and the building is due. All completed Maine Solar Sheds will be stored at Backyard Buildings until they can be delivered.
• Project installations are prioritized by order of contract completion date.
• Pricing is based on current 2024 pricing and costs.
• Sale ends May 1 at 4 pm
